Lakewood RV Resort is located in Hendersonville, NC, just 30 minutes south of Asheville and about an hour away from Smoky Mountain National Park. We built our RV resort with recreational vehicle lovers in mind, offering extensive facilities and everything else you could want to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Lakewood is a unique RV park in two ways. First, we are North Carolina’s premier adult-only park and we welcome guests aged 55 and older. Our environment and our whole park is always a peaceful, adult-oriented sanctuary where you can relax, unwind and feel right at home among other adults. Everything is organized with the needs of adults in mind, and instead of feeling like just more guests at a park designed for families and children and their particular needs, you can enjoy the peace of an RV park designed especially for adults. Secondly, our RV park is designed to be as user-friendly as possible, with every possible site feature and facility to enhance your stay and allow you to take maximum advantage of your free time.

We offer both back in and pull thru sites at Lakewood, with every amenity you could ever want or need. All of our sites have electricity (30/50 amp), water and sewer hookups, come with concrete patios and picnic tables to enjoy and are fully wired for you with WiFi and Direct TV. Phone hookup is available upon your request. All sites are available on a daily, weekly or monthly rental basis, with discounts available for members of Good Sam and those who have served in the military.
Lakewood RV Resort welcomes the following RV types that are no more than 10 years old and that are at least 20 feet long:
Class A, B and C, 5th Wheels and Travel Trailers – All RVs are required to have own toilet and be at least 20 feet long
Lakewood RV Resort does NOT allow: Tents, pickup campers, skoolies, RVs shorter than 20 feet, or pop-ups.
Our ‘Back In’ Sites
The majority of our sites are traditional, beautifully landscaped ‘Back In’ RV sites, with all the comforts listed above and that you could ever need.
Our ‘Pull Thru’ Sites
One of the features that makes us unique among other RV and trailer parks, is that Lakewood offers a large number of ‘Pull Thru’ RV sites, where you simply drive up and instantly set up home. No more time-consuming maneuvering and potential damage or accidents; in Lakewood’s pull thru sites, all you need to do is pull thru and you’ve arrived! When you leave, just start up your RV and drive out.
Permanent And Park Models
If you have an RV and would like to park it at our park on a permanent basis, Lakewood offers this option. This makes the whole RV or trailer experience even easier, as once your RV is parked and set up with us, all you need to do is drive your car to the park and you’re home! We also offer Park Models with features such as covered porches, ‘Carolina Rooms’, carports, driveways and storage rooms. We have really tried to think of everything. We can also accommodate RV and trailer parking or storage for any timeframe, just contact us to discuss your requirements.
Apartments At Lakewood Resort
We also have three quiet, spacious and comfortable apartments for rent that come with all the features you would expect from quality apartment living. Our lovely apartments are perfect for a vacation getaway, and we welcome long-term residents too. All apartments are limited to two adults, with a no-smoking and no-pet clause.
